Hi. I saw you add admin rights to this person. Perhaps you could have worked out from the username and the title they gave to the section that they were probably a bad faith user? Please try to be a little more careful in future :) regards, --IWI (talk) 05:13, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

Inactivity policy
Thought I'd let you know that the inactivity policy covers both edits and logged actions; hence since Đức Anh had logged actions within the last 30 days, strictly speaking your removal was incorrect. I won't be reversing you in this instance since having looked it over, three of their recent logged actions were (mildly) disruptive unblocks of spambots, and I would rather have a conversation before giving the flags back.

I knew that MacFanTest was an inactive adminbot but usually (and I'll grant there are exceptions) bots are considered extensions of their operators and are only deflagged if both bot and owner are inactive, but again reversal would be pointless because MacFan is fully capable of returning flags to the bot if it needs to run again.

Anyway not a big deal, just something to keep in mind in the future. Also remember to check deleted contributions and check all the boxes (like Patrol log and Tag log) on the logged actions page, or you can just run a script like I do :), best Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 20:57, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi. I saw you add admin rights to this person. Perhaps you could have worked out from the username and the title they gave to the section that they were probably a bad faith user? Please try to be a little more careful in future :) regards, --IWI (talk) 05:13, 3 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Inactivity policy[edit source]

Also remember to check deleted contributions and check all the boxes (like Patrol log and Tag log) on the logged actions page, or you can just run a script like I do :), best Fast - ZoomZoom (talk) 20:57, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
