It is not official policy yet, but is undergoing discussion on the community portal. It may be based on policies from other sites or unwritten customs.

Deputy Stewards are trusted users appointed by Stewards or the community (either method of appointment must have at least 2 support votes), to, among other things,

• Manage abuse filters with restricted conditions (such as blocking) and and the abusefilter-restricted group,
• Handle requests for suppression, and
• Handle requests for and abuse of the interface-admin group

Revocation

Deputy Steward may be revoked upon a vote of confidence by Stewards or the community, or by a Steward in an emergency.
