I was using this method when I was an IA. I thought that if the gadget works, I can edit the MediaWiki page directly without community conseus. However, I think we don't need to open a talk on CP because my gadget is an update of the original script and this gadget didn't have a risk for a normal user. Also, using {{subst:User:PB2008/markadmins.js}} to replace that page should be more safe than just copying. PB2008 (talk) 10:32, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
