Welcome to the suppression team
Hello, EPIC! Per your successful request, I have granted non-steward suppression rights to your account. You may now review the suppression logs and add the suppress
right to your account at any time. Thanks for volunteering, Justarandomamerican (talk) 15:24, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- I have one question related to the NSS right: why can't someone who has that right just grant suppressor rights to themselves permanently? Or they should assign themselves suppressor rights temporarily and remove them when done? – 64andtim (talk) 15:29, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- The current Test Wiki practice is the latter; likely because it ensures some form of community transparency when viewing or changing the suppression of suppressed revisions. Justarandomamerican (talk) 15:32, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- Congratulations! @64andtim Justa is correct, it allows community members to know when someone is accessing private information for transparency. X (talk + contribs) 15:35, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- I was thinking of being one someday, but right now it's not necessary because while I might be a trustworthy user, some may oppose. – 64andtim (talk) 15:40, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- Just happened to notice this - thanks for the confidence! I will handle it as well as I can. EPIC (talk) 19:15, 10 February 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for doing suppression maintenance! It is very much needed, as there are many suppressed edits that should not be suppressed. Justarandomamerican (talk) 23:16, 2 April 2024 (UTC) |
