Inactivity for AFAs

Should inactivity for AFAs be measured in regular terms, or should it be measured by the last time an abuse filter was modified by an AFA, or perhaps even the last time a filter was modified to use a restricted action or a restricted filter was modified? Since there is nothing more for me to do here, I would like to be a interface administrator... I would mainly take care of the gadgets, adding or removing scripts (if desired) there and translating them... Since I seem to have plenty of time until candidate as steward/system administrator, I would at least to do this!

No need to! Practically every script that I use here in my common.js is also compatible with this wiki! I just don't import the rest! I would possibly find more! I would test each script first, however Justman10000 (talk) 14:57, 12 July 2024 (UTC)

Upon further inspection, it appears that you do not have a sufficient grasp on the purpose of the IA right. At Test Wiki, when gadgets are imported, a human interface administrator has to both import them and use their coding knowledge to tailor them to our wiki, as the majority of gadgets are designed for massive wiki (farms). I am also uncomfortable with your seemingly uncivil attitude. As such,  this is not done, and likely will not be done for the foreseeable future. Justarandomamerican (talk) 15:10, 13 July 2024 (UTC)

We still have 6-8 months until I can candidate for stewardship! I have explained many times that without these permissions I would have nothing to do here, and scripts that I would import would also work here! But I seem to be talking to a wall! If one is permanently not trusted by anyone, one should not be wondering if this person shows an uncivil attitude!

Translations into Chinese

Hi. I've been doing some translations lately and was wondering which variant of Chinese to translate to. Currently most pages are translated into regional dialects, such as zh-cn and zh-tw. What I think would be better is to translate only into zh-hans (simplified Chinese) and zh-hant (traditional Chinese) in order to reduce redundancy, as all Chinese dialects use one of the two character systems. For some reason, variants of Chinese may be spoken may be many people, such as some people may speak a partial of Traditional and Simplified Chinese, they are multiple dialects of Chinese, 3 dialects of Chinese may be said by a person while others speak mainly only 1 dialect. Special:PageLanguage enabled

Multiple groups have the pagelang permission, but the page wasn't enabled until I set $wgPageLanguageUseDB to true. You can now change page languages. The default is still English. Justarandomamerican (talk) 22:24, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
