Test Wiki:Interface administrators
Interface administrator is a user group that permits the editing of all CSS, JSON, JavaScript and interface pages.
From 21 July 2020, for security reasons, only stewards can grant and withdraw these rights (see Special:ListGroupRights). Previously this group could also be granted from all bureaucrats.
If you really must update CSS/JS pages, you may request the right at RFP, but you will be subject to a security review by stewards.
Interface administrators rights are only granted if it has been demonstrated that the user is able to work with CSS and JavaScript. This is also possible if it can be verified that the user has interface administrator permissions in non-test projects.
Only stewards and system administrators are able to grant or revoke interface administrators rights.
Note: This must not be used as merely a 'badge', but must be used regularly. Stewards will conduct regular reviews of non-Steward users contributions to assess both their level and usefulness of the permission to determine whether it's needed currently
This is one of the six default MediaWiki user groups, see Help:User rights and groups on mediawiki.org.
